Cookie Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones SwiftTools uses, why, and how you can control them. For the broader picture on data handling, see our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They are used to remember preferences, understand how a site is used, and - in the case of advertising - to serve relevant ads. You can review and delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

1. Necessary cookies

These are required for the site to function. They enable basic features such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the experience. Because SwiftTools does not use accounts or sessions, we keep the set of necessary cookies to a minimum. They are only set when you use a feature that requires them.

2. Analytics cookies

When analytics are enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used - for example which tools and pages are most popular. These may record your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

3. Advertising cookies

Where advertising is enabled, we may use Google AdSense to display ads. AdSense and its partners may set cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. This is standard industry practice for personalised advertising.

You can control personalised ads by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party advertising cookies through your browser. You can also learn more and opt out through the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA).

4. How to manage cookies

Most browsers let you control or disable cookies entirely. To do this:

  • Open your browser’s settings or preferences.
  • Look for “Privacy” or “Cookies”.
  • Choose to block, limit or delete cookies as you prefer.

Blocking all cookies may reduce the functionality of some websites, including this one. Disabling cookies does not remove existing cookies already stored in your browser - clear those through your browser’s history or privacy tools.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, our services or legal requirements. The most current version will always be available on this page.
