Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
SwiftTools (this site) provides free online tools. This policy explains what data is involved when you use the site, and how it is handled.
1. No accounts, no sign-up
We do not offer user accounts. There is no registration, no email collection and no requirement to provide personal information in order to use any tool.
2. Your tool input stays in your browser
The tools on this site (word and character counting, calculators, converters, JSON formatting, and similar) are processed locally in your web browser using JavaScript. The text, numbers and files you enter into a tool are not sent to our servers as part of using the tool.
3. Analytics
When analytics are enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages and tools are most used. This may include your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. Google may process this data in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
4. Advertising and third-party cookies
Where advertising is enabled, we may use Google AdSense to serve relevant ads. AdSense and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Third parties, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party advertising cookies through your browser settings. Learn more at the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt-out page.
5. Cookies in general
This site uses a small number of cookies. See our Cookie Policy for a full list of cookie types, their purposes and how to control them.
6. Children’s privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because there are no accounts, we have no mechanism that would solicit a child’s personal data.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data that a third-party processor (such as Google) holds on your behalf. You can exercise these rights through the processor’s own settings and opt-out mechanisms, or by contacting us.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page.
9. Contact
If you have questions about this policy or your privacy, please contact us.
