Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate a percentage of a number?
Multiply the number by the percentage and divide by 100. For example, 15% of 80 is 80 x 15 / 100 = 12.
How does the discount calculator work?
Enter the original price and the discount percentage. It shows the discount amount and the final price after the discount is applied.
What is the difference between average and median?
The average (mean) adds all values and divides by the count. The median is the middle value when the data is sorted. Averages are skewed by outliers; medians are not.
